Tying Technology to the Common Core Standards

As a supplement to the paper “Mobile Devices and the Common Core: Effectively choosing the right classroom technology to meet new learning standards,” this poster takes a deeper dive into the specific mobile device capabilities education leaders need to consider when integrating mobile devices with curriculum to meet the Common Core State Standards and learning objectives. It outlines specific Common Core State Standards by subject and grade level that require a technology component, gives examples of classroom scenarios that incorporate the standards and recommends device capabilities for each classroom scenario. Helpful considerations and questions about areas such as security and infrastructure are also included.
