Recognizing the critical role superintendents play in the success of a digital initiative, the Center for Digital Education (CDE) called upon leading superintendents from across the country to participate in a year-long working group. The superintendents met in person and over the phone to discuss both the status of education technology implementations and best practices for success. They determined that culture (people), process (curriculum and instruction) and technology (devices, infrastructure, etc.) were critical to the success of a technology-supported initiative. This paper is a reflection of their conversations.
