Answer: Students could understand concepts at a deeper level and a younger age, but not all students will be able to do this at the same time.

In an email interview with about.com, Oklahoma teacher Bobbie Faulkner talked about how the Common Core State Standards match up with her state's existing standards, how the transition has been going in her classroom and its potential impact. She especially appreciated that the standards call for technology to be mixed into the classroom on a more regular basis.
