27 Colleges to Evaluate Student Data More Effectively

on January 31, 2013

A group of community and technical colleges now has access to SAS analytics and visualization software that will help them identify struggling students.

By identifying students who have trouble in a specific area, these colleges can intervene earlier to get them back on track. And they can also predict students who are more likely to struggle.

These 27 colleges are part of the 2012 Achieving the Dream cohort, a group of community colleges that the nonprofit Achieving the Dream organization will help so that their students can succeed. Achieving the Dream partnered with SAS to give these colleges a chance to analyze longitudinal student data over the next three years.
