California Virtual Academy Begins Enrolling Students for Fall

The fully online school is open to K-12 students and is marketed toward kids looking to pursue personalized education and opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

(TNS) -- California Virtual Academy@ San Joaquin (CAVA@ San Joaquin), a full-time, online public charter school for students in grades K-12, is now enrolling students for the 2016-17 school year. CAVA@ San Joaquin is part of a network of 11 independent charter schools in California that use the K-12 online curriculum to offer students in grades K–12 an exceptional learning experience.

CAVA@ San Joaquin is focused on providing every student with an individualized learning experience, a structure that allows students discover their own learning style. CAVA@ San Joaquin gives advanced learners the ability to progress faster in subject in which they excel, including opportunities for advancement in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education and the ability to earn college credits while in high school.

Students are also encouraged to attend the numerous field trips and school activities where students have the opportunity to meet face-to-face and participate in events that blend academics and socialization.
