John Alawneh
, Executive Director of Technology Operations, Plano, TX ISD

John Alawneh is the Executive Director of Technology Operations for Plano ISD. His main focus is developing and implementing the overall IT strategy that aligns IT Infrastructure & Operations with the enterprise goals and objectives. His background includes ERP development and implementations for integrated student information systems, financial management, human capital management and BI and business performance management. He has 20 years of IT experience, including leadership roles in operations, technical support, desktop management, applications development, enterprise architecture, and IT strategy development. John has a PhD in Computer Engineering and an MBA in Operational Management.
 

Jeff McCoy, Director, Instructional Technology, Greenville, SC County Schools

Jeff McCoy is the Director of Instructional Technology for Greenvile County Schools in Greenville, South Carolina. Previously, Jeff was a classroom teacher and served as the district Distance Learning Coordinator. Jeff supervises Instructional Technology, Media Services, Student Information systems, Virtual School and Distance Learning in his current role. He also teaches education majors at Presbyterian College and is an independent education technology consultant.
