Building a Sustainable Technology Plan

Jun 27, 2017
San Antonio, TX

Overview

Who should attend: CTO's, CIO's, Superintendents, Principals

The move to digital content and curriculum shows no signs of slowing and, as evidenced by references in the ESSA guidelines, funding is being aligned with this effort. Of course, federal funds and grants are not the only source of funding and are not always reliable. It is imperative that districts create technology plans that incorporate a long-term look at funding as well as other important facets like professional development for faculty, repair/replacement, connectivity, disaster recovery, and roadmaps that include recommendations based on industry standards, and technical and instructional best practices. Join district leaders from Schertz-Cibolo Universal City ISD and North East ISD for a focused conversation at our CDE@ISTE lunch and learn roundtable. Our industry partner, SHI, will be joining us in the conversation to share their unique thoughts and perspective.
