The Center for Digital Education is hosted a Market Briefing event in Seattle, WA.
IT leaders from Washington school districts were on hand for a special briefing on their technology plans for the coming years.
Renton School District has over 14,000 students which it is committed to supporting through the use of technology. Highline Schools is working to support its over 17,000 students by providing technology devices to enhance engagement, learning and responsible use of technology. Eatonville School District is striving to provide its nearly 2,000 students with extensive possibilities to sample and become familiar with technology. Bellevue School District’s mission is to provide and utilize technology for a high quality, safe learning environment for its over 18,000 students. With over 14,000 students, Mukilteo School District believes that technology is an essential component of all staff and students’ educational development. Issaquah School District has over 17,000 students which it is working to provide an up-to-date and reliable technology environment.
The participants briefed the audience on district plans in a variety of topic areas, including computing infrastructure, mobile devices, digital content, professional development, cyber security and their plans to incorporate blended learning models.
