Managing Student Data

Jun 26, 2017
San Antonio, TX

Who should attend: CTO's, CIO's, Data Quality Directors

In most schools, student data is captured in numerous systems in both paper and digital formats. From a student information system and email to the learning management system and homework assignments, this data exists. Managing and protecting this data through and with the lifecycle of a student requires new tools and a structured approach. If this is done with no vision for using data to improve outcomes, the effort is likely the bare minimum rather than a highly valuable exercise that produces for the student and the district. Come to the CDE@ISTE lunch and learn roundtable to discuss the lifecycle of student data and how to get a better handle on where your data is, how to ensure it is secure and how to use it to improve education outcomes in the classroom and for the district. Canon, a leader in digital imaging solutions, will be joining us in the conversation to share their thoughts and insight gleaned from working with schools around the country.
