Jay Steele is a Senior Fellow for the Center for Digital Education. He is a former music teacher, charter high school principal, Vice President of a technical college, Coordinator and Director for Career Education, Associate Superintendent for High Schools, and former Chief Academic Officer. His specialty is school transformation. In 2014, Jay was voted a Top 30 Digital Educator in the U.S. He is also a Leader of 150 schools and the Academies of Nashville and sits as the President of the National Career Academy Coalition. Jay is a national and international speaker on school transformation and career education.
