SACRAMENTO, CA  ( August 30, 2012) e.Republic’s Center for Digital Education (Center) has announced this year’s winners of the Center’s 2012 Digital Education Achievement Awards (DEAA) and Best of the Web Awards (BOW).  The Best of the Web Awards recognize and honor outstanding K-12 and higher education websites while the Digital Education Achievement Awards recognize outstanding contributions at the application, intranet and infrastructure level, all to the benefit and quality of online education for students, teachers and the community.

“The need for schools, universities and other educational institutions to have quality websites and applications is constantly increasing as online technologies become a bigger part of the educational process,” said Cathilea Robinett, Executive Vice President of e.Republic.  “These innovative models demonstrate the power of technology to increase learning and promote achievement.  The Center is delighted to recognize these outstanding displays of creativity and ingenuity!”
